1960s Pyrex Verde Casserole Dish

I found this badass 2 ½ quart casserole dish in the apartment I rented in grad school. I could not believe that someone left this gem behind. It’s made for the oven, but my paranoia of somehow ruining or cracking this piece dictates special usage. I reserve it for cold dishes like gazpacho, bruschetta, or salsa.

The Verde pattern consists of varying shades of solid green for the bowls and refrigerator boxes, which have clear lids. However, the solid green casserole dishes (round, oval, and divided) in this collection boast white lids that feature fancy green olives and leaves.
